Christy Burke Designs' professional fees are well known in our industry for not only being fair, but competitive as well.
So why don't we publish standard rates? Simple. Because no job is standard.
In reality, determining what the professional fees will be for your project involves a large degree of due-diligence on our part. This includes:
1)Having a detailed conversation (verbal) with you. This interaction allows us to feel what you are looking for in your project. Emails and letters can't express emotions and passion like a voice.
2)We then work with you to fill out our industry exclusive Proposed Project Form. This form further helps us determine what you want to accomplish, in addition to our conversation. This form is like a road map for your project.
Once we have talked with you and have the Proposed Project Form back we start our research:
1)We research your overall industry (auto, internet, medical etc.)
2)We research the leaders in your industry.
3)We research your direct competitors in your industry.
We then contact you by phone and discuss and review:
1)What we have learned in all our research
2)Your preferences that we previously discussed in our conversation and what you listed in your Proposed Project form
3)Designs, colors, styles and fonts based on all our research. If we do not feel your suggestions are appropriate, or vice versa, we work through the issues to resolve them.
Next, we determine the amount of time your project will take, knowing perfectly well that there will be revisions and various versions. And, we don't ever subject you to unrealistic limits.
Finally, once we have an understanding for your needs, we can give you a realistic and fair price. We say a fair price because that is what we offer. We are not cheap because our work is not cheap. However, we are not expensive, because we are competitive in the high-quality graphic art, logo and image genre.
We have numerous testimonials ( ) In fact, Mark Horne who purchased the domain name Flying.com for $1.1 million in 2010 stated, "Your fees are a tenth of what they should be for what you offer, but thanks for being so competitively priced."
In conclusion, we believe that listing blind or standard rate prices without any sense of knowing anything about the project and what it will entail is not only irresponsible but deceptive. We will never engage in any activities with our current or prospective customers without both of us having a complete understanding of your needs and desires and the related costs.
